Raised a total of $2,500
$1000 was sent to Hatay, Turkiye
50 kids were given new shoes for Eid in Hatay
$1500 was sent to Kilis, Turkiye
110 kids were given new shoes, school bags, pencils, notebooks, and shirts, as well as snacks (chocolate milk, and chocolate)

Our course of action:
Our Summer 2025 donation drive has successfully concluded, raising a total of $2,500—a new record for E&H Hopeful Hearts. We sent $1,000 to Hatay, Turkiye, one of the regions hardest hit by the 2023 earthquakes. Working with a local orphanage, we provided brand-new shoes to 50 orphans, ages 3 to 13, just in time for Eid, ensuring each child had something new to wear for the holiday. The remaining $1,500 was sent to Kilis, Turkiye where it was used to purchase school bags, shoes, pencils, notebooks, shirts, chocolate milk, and chocolate for children currently in school. This Kilis mission took a good amount of time to coordinate, and took exactly three days to pass out all the items to the different grades. 110 kids received the supplies they need to learn, grow, and step confidently into the new school year.
